Manager's Programme Notes
Good afternoon and welcome to the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park for today's match against Ayr United.
I'd like to start by welcoming Mark Kerr, his backroom staff and both sets of supporters along to Dens.
Last week was a tough one to take and one that I didn't see coming.
We picked the same 11 players that had done so well at Partick and then down the road as well so it was so frustrating to start the match like we did.
We didn't anticipate that happening but it has occurred before and we have managed to recover from it. It's now at the forefront of our minds, to put it right this afternoon. In the second hall we were a bit better but maybe it's easier to be better when you are 2-0 down and have to take the game to a team.
I said as much to our players so we are not taking positives from that.
We can't afford to be so up and down as a team. It's important now we put a consistent run together and put points on the board during the second half of the season.
It's been a good festive period, and I wish all of our supporters a Happy New Year. Here's hoping 2020 will be a successful one for each and everyone of you as well as the football club.
