Biography

Left back Nathan Ralph began his career at Peterborough United, however did not make a senior appearance for the club and made his professional debut during a loan spell with Kettering Town in the 2011/2012 season. After being released by Peterborough, Nathan signed for Yeovil Town, and made 17 appearances as Yeovil were promoted to the Championship via the playoffs.

Released by Yeovil in the summer of 2015, Nathan then signed for League Two side Newport County, however his time with the Welsh club was marred by injuries. Nathan failed to make a single appearance for Newport, and spent part of the season on loan to Aldershot Town in the National League.

A fruitful spell at Woking, in which Nathan made 72 appearances over 2 seasons, rejuvenated his career and attracted the interest of Dundee.

Neil McCann brought Nathan to Dens in the summer of 2018, with the defender signing a 2 year contract. Nathan was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disastrous season for Dundee, making 32 appearances in all competitions, and scoring once in a 4-3 defeat to Motherwell in April 2018. One of the few players to feature regularly under both Neil McCann and then Jim McIntyre, Nathan scooped the club’s Player of the Year Award at the end of the season.

Nathan left Dundee in the summer of 2019, returning to England to sign for Southend United.
